Matthew LaVelle simultaneously obtained two bachelor degrees from Southern Methodist University, graduating in 1994 with a bachelor of science in psychology and a bachelor of business administration in economics and finance. He then attended the University of Southern California School of Law, where he graduated in 1997. After law school, Matt was admitted to the State Bar of California and practiced at a large Los Angeles firm where his area of specialty was employment law. Matt was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 1998 and began his distinguished litigation career in Phoenix, Arizona with the firm of Kimmerer & LaVelle.

 

The Firm’s clients benefit from Matt’s experience, judgment and acute analytical skills. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a broad spectrum of litigation, from complex securities cases to multi-jurisdictional personal injury cases. Due to his skill in settlement, he often settles cases to his client’s satisfaction well before trial.

Uniquely, Matt has is experienced in providing trustee services and counseling clients as to real estate, private equity, and lending investments. The complementary relationship between his trustee experience and litigation record provide his clients a breadth of expertise uncommon among his peers.
